Our iOS app is an important part to navigate our users as easily as possible through a complex web of compliance, security and technology. We want our users to feel fully guided while our tech makes the difficult decisions. Perspectively computer vision and machine learning in the apps on the mobile device will play an important role in improving our user experience even further.

As part of our Engineering team you collaborate with Product Managers, QA Managers, our Computer Vision and Machine Learning experts directly and daily. Together with all these disciplines you will build the best Ident app in the market!

You are responsible for:

Product development

Together with our product team you will build new features and improve existing one’s to make the life of our users and customers better

Ensure we understand our apps

Help our team to understand what is happening in our apps
Integrate metrics, validate our assumptions through data and point out problems that you see

Improve our security

We use various methods (e.g. Apple App Attest) to make sure the devices are genuine
This is a permanent cat and mouse game
You are part of bringing us to the top of that game

Improve UX

Details matter!
Improve the little details that make all the difference between Figma and what users actual use

Master network communication

Our apps heavily rely on our backend system
That means our iOS needs to be absolutely sure to do a great job of network communication

Be ready to use ML models

We are experts in computer vision and machine learning, let us use this experience also on the mobile device side
We can make use of this tech to improve our user experience
Be ready to bring Nect into that field, we think there is a huge lever!

You bring:

Excellent experience in iOS software engineering (3 yrs+)

Apple Vision

We use the native Computer Vision iOS library to make the document capture process easier and friendlier for the user.

Google ML Kit

The native Android libraries are used to make the identification process more user-friendly.

OpenCV

We rely on this library for additional image-processing tasks in the Android app.

Computer Vision & Machine Learning

Unser Computer Vision / Machine Learning Team besteht aus inspirierenden Menschen, die am "Herzen" unserer Technologie arbeiten. Hier werden die Algorithmen konzipiert und implementiert, die unsere automatisierte Identifizierungslösung überhaupt erst möglich und so sicher machen. Dabei arbeiten wir state-of-the-art Methoden wie Gesichts- und Alterserkennung und vielen weiteren Methoden, welche die wirklich spannenden Themen im Bereich Machine Learning darstellen. Bei uns finden Spezialist:innen im Bereich Machine Learning und Forschende ein Zuhause, die ihre Erfahrung und wissenschaftlichen Erkenntnisse ganz praktisch und im Produktkontext einsetzen möchten.
